Teri's Lyme Disease Story

Teri was first diagnosed with strep throat four years ago. The antibiotics she took depleted the good bacteria in her GI system, resulting in what's called C-Difficile; and she was never the same after that. Teri was experiencing a litany of symptoms: extreme fatigue, memory loss, brain fog, lack of focus and concentration, disorientation, blurry vision, red swollen eyes, respiratory challenges, shallow breathing, weakness, GI pain, neck pain, neck creaks, jaw pain, slow healing from surgery, sore throat and cough, insomnia, hair loss, mood swings, irritability, and increased allergies and sensitivities.

When Teri finally had enough she went to her family doctor on numerous occasions to try and resolve why she was experiencing all of these symptoms. Teri's doctor performed numerous tests including x-rays, ultrasounds and copious blood tests and sent her to specialists to test for things such as Crohn's disease, Celiac disease, MS, Chronic Fatigue, fibromyalgia, et al; which all came back negative. Teri's doctor then wanted to prescribe anti-depressants so that she could "live" through the symptoms of supposed Chronic Fatigue. But Teri refused, because she would virtually have no quality of life. She desperately wanted her old life back with energy and vitality! At this point, Teri was only able to go to and from work and then she would collapse in bed at night to conserve energy for the next day.

Luckily, Teri was referred to Envita. She quickly had tests done and was diagnosed with Lyme disease and heavy metal toxicity. She immediately saw results upon treatment, but it took a year for her to rebuild her strength and feel like herself again. Thanks to Envita, Teri slowly regained her former active life, including dancing, and most of the symptoms from Lyme completely disappeared.
